Professionally, I work as an ICU nurse. I enjoy using my clinical skills and knowledge to help those in need. At home my partner and I enjoy raising our daughter, who will be eight years old very shortly. My hobby this past year has been building, planting, and harvesting a large vegetable garden, remodeling a bathroom, and building a shed!

Athletically, I began my life young as a soccer player, a sport I played daily until age 18.

As an early adult, I ran half marathons but wanted to mix the disciplines up and moved into triathlons. I did my first half sprint distance race in July of 2011 and in 2015 did my first olympic and half distance triathlons. The intervening years i sustained injuries from soccer that slowed me down. Since 2015 I have been doing more and more races and training regularly for the past two years very consistently. I have completed five sprint distance races, five olympic distance races, eight half ironman distance races, and one full ironman. I have also competed in several aquabike competitions. With these and the sprint races I have placed in my age group and overall three time this year!
