I have been a competitive athlete all of my life. Swimming and diving when I was young, and then continuing to swim throughout high school and college. After college I sailed competitively and then began inline skating and mountain biking. I finally started to run, and found my passion in triathlon. I really enjoyed all aspects of the sport, training, racing, and just being around other athletes. I moved from sprints to olympic distance, and eventually Ironman. I have competed in 13 Ironman races, and I have qualified and competed at the World Championships in Kona 3 times. I also competed in the 70.3 World Championships in Las Vegas. I am active in a number of swimming, biking and running groups in the area. I have participated in numerous clinics and have helped out friends of mine who owned a triathlon store. I currently own a set of tubular ENVE 9.8 wheels with Chris King hubs, and also a set of 6.5s with a Powertab hub for training.
