Who am I?
My name is Ryan Ososky, I am an Executive Chef and TRI-STAR triathlete throughout the year in Los Angeles, CA. and am inquiring about sponsorship. I am a huge advocate and ambassador for the brand. I feel with the healthy lifestyle triathlons have brought to me and with typically unhealthy lifestyle that comes from the kitchen, I have been able to inspire several of my fellow chefs and cooks to purchase bikes and gear to transform their lives too. I truly find satisfaction in this. From weekly swims in Redondo beach with an ocean group, to weekly group rides, to a series of races throughout the year I parlay for everyone to join the triathlon movement. I have been a part of the no kid hungry and chefs cycle ride twice. I race several times throughout the year and all year long. Some of the same races and some new. Some across the country and a ton local.
I am a top age grouper, Ironman All world athlete, and an Ironman 70.3 World Championship qualifier and plan on being on the podium in every race I can to bring exposure to your brand. I will be representing our country in Nice, France at the 2019 Ironman 70.3 World Championships
Example of a typical yearly schedule:
Surf city half marathon
Surf city triathlon
Ironman 70.3 Mallorca
Redondo beach tri
Big bear tri
Hansen dam tri
Ironman 70.3 Steel Head
Playa del ray tri
Ironman 70.3 La quinta
Plus a series of bike time trials and other run races, i.e. Piru time trials, turkey trots etc.
Help me, help you
For the 2019 season I will be seeking financial support along with product support and testing. After spending over a decade racing triathlons and run races I have a really great feel for what products work best and how the majority of triathletes decide which products they will purchase in order to help them fulfill their goals along their specific race. I have found the best way for me to help my sponsors is to be out racing as much as possible, Period. Triathletes are a special bunch of “type A” people who love to engage in conversation about racing, especially talking about themselves and it all starts at the airport heading to a race. In line at the car rental, after getting off the plane, at a restaurant in a hotel, or the morning of the race in transition. And it doesn’t stop there. After a race is over, walking to my car, I always find myself talking to people from all walks of life, young and old, men and women, fast and slow. And every single one of them always ask me specific questions like why are you using this product, and what should I use to help with training, what helmet do you prefer? Why do you do this instead of that? So I know the more I am out in the world training or racing the better opportunity for myself to talk to other racers and help promote your product, there is a greater chance they will purchase that product. Also, we live in a very tech savvy world, and many people are heavily influenced by social media. I post consistent and tasteful, l photos that are done in such a manner that it’s not so in your face, but rather, makes you want to learn more about the product or go out and buy it yourself. I have specifically made it a point the past few years to learn how the majority of triathletes are influenced, and how they consider making purchases, and the top two on the list are social media, followed by first hand human experience/interaction that leads to a purchase. I also feel that my results from the past 5 seasons have finally warranted my request for financial backing, not to mention, my podium results have huge effects and influence on other racers when we discuss what product I am using or why I have chosen it specifically over other products on the market.
