I am an AG athlete based in Seattle, Washington. I was born and raised in the midwest but moved to California in 2011 and can safely say that I will never leave the west coast! There is so much that I love out here, the mountains, rivers, ocean, hiking, riding, etc that I could never move away.
I have only been competing in Triathlon since 2016, but have in that time seen my 70.3 times go from a 5:30 at my first race to the 4:30 range this past season. I love doing Olympic distance races because I can redline my body for 2 hours and really explore the limits of how hard I can push myself. I plan to do my first Ironman this fall @ Cozumel.
I got into this sport on a dare essentially by a buddy who was training for ironman and believed he could out race me, and being super competitive with all my friends I took him up on that and found a sport I truly love and enjoy.
