Some fun facts about myself. First off, my real name is John Smith… yes, I’m serious. I go by my middle name Squires for obvious reasons. Anyways, I raced both road and mountain bikes in the Rocky Mountain collegiate cycling conference for Western State Colorado University in Gunnison CO. My past 3 years have been spent racing collegiate road and mountain, though my focus has shifted sharply towards road racing. I raced collegiate A's through collage, but after graduating my focus has shifted towards moving up the ranks in the USAC open categories. Currently a Cat 3 in USAC road. My favorite race thus far was the Leadville 100, with a finishing time of 8h 40m. Aside from racing, I bike pack, gravel grind, and will rip bike park any chance I get. I am constantly on a bike, always in good spirits, and continue to push myself toward future achievement.
