FOCUS ON 2020. My 2019 season didn't go as planned. I had (minor) injuries and crash. Plantar fasciatis troubled me for the majority of the season, so I had to cancel originally planned triathlon events.

However I did road races, couple criteriums and time trials as a CAT5 racer. I was able to snag one podium place in a road race. I was sure happy to rep Enve gear. I raced all my races with Enve wheels. The difference was huge, compared to my previous carbon wheels. I got two sets of wheels, 3.4 & 7.8, every ride with those has been great, and sure I have remembered to tell that to my riding buddies and also put in my Instagram stories :)

Now I have gotten myself into gravel riding also, so the plan is to do some big gravel event next year and definitely would like to have Enves on the new gravel bike as well.

As this year's racing didn't go as planned, I have a lot to prove in 2020. Focus will be in Santa Rosa & Santa Cruz 70.3 Ironmans, mixed up with road racing and gravel events. Hopefully I make it to the team and can join Enve Racing team's focus gravel races also.

2019 application:
My name is Kimmo. Originally I am from Finland. I have been road cycling 6+ years and doing triathlons 3 years. After moving to California in 2017, I have been able to ride around the year and train much more than previous years in snowy Finland.

My this year's main focus has been triathlon and my A race was Ironman 70.3 Santa Rosa. Cycling is my strongest discipline and that I enjoy doing the most. Now during triathlon off season, I am doing "Winter series" bike races. Bike races are new thing for me, and great way to get my cycling to the next level.

My goal has been to be the fastest version of myself and trying to improve my previous performance. Now when I have been improving a lot, the goal has shifted more towards competing with others. And therefore Enve racing team would be ideal for my interests.
