I'm a husband and dad (17 year old son and 14 year old daughter). Love riding bikes for fun (I typically ride in non-competitive organized events such as Seattle to Portland and RAMROD (Ride Around Mt. Rainier in One Day)). I used to compete several triathlons each year but fell off for a while due to the combination of a young family and busy career. In April 2019, a good friend asked me to support him at the Texas IM. I did, and I loved it. It was one of the most inspiring events I've ever seen. So, I signed up for 2020. Unfortunately, the pandemic threw my plans for a loop (and everyone else’s). 2020 was a bust, but I competed in the 2021 Oregon 70.3,and 2021 Washington 70.3. They were great, though I blew up on the runs. I have a list of halfs and fulls in 2022, and am training hard to make 2022 an awesome season.
