I am a runner turned triathlete turned cyclist. Love all disciplines of cycling (both recreational and competitive) and am always looking to continue exploring new ones. Currently race road/crit as well as XC and will start racing gravel in the coming year as well. I do my best to get out on my bike nearly every day and regularly ride with friends or groups when appropriate or train indoors when needed. Tend towards longer race efforts (recently completed Shenandoah 100mi) and have my sight set on Leadville and DK in 2021 and 2022 as well as a MTB Stage Race (likely Moab and/or Pisgah). I am always looking for new fun (type 2) and exciting adventures on the bike and game for any challenge. Anything that connects me with my friends and the sport is a win in my book.
I am still an avid runner and will be pursuing the 6 WMM in the next 1-2 years. I am a 2x Boston Qualifier and was scheduled to race Boston, Berlin, Chicago, and New York this year.
I work as a Project Manager in construction and am constantly trying to figure out how best to balance a demanding work life (60-80 hours/week) with a love of endurance sports (train 12-20 hours/week) and still spend as much time as possible with my friends and family (thankfully many of my friend also ride/run!)
While I currently live in Atlanta, I have a deep love of the mountains and visit my brother and adventure in the Rockies as often as possible. We enjoy rock and alpine climbing as well as snowboarding and mountain biking when the seasons allow.
I look to move back to Austin, TX within the next year (I spent 2 years there and fell in love with the city) as the community there is one to which I have not yet found a comparison. I have strong ties to the fitness community there and had the pleasure of leading a number of workout/training groups during my time there.
