Recent post-covid fall ride photo with my friend Sasha. I was in the hospital for a month this year and am on the comeback trail!!
Next riding goal is get in a century before the end of the year.
Medal, distance and my Dad from our Juvenile Diabetes Ride to Cure event. My wheels were the envy of many riders. Most importantly this was an awesome event to help bring awareness to Type1 diabetes. Everyone wears the same jersey and we had 800 riders this year. While I could not be competitive at triathlon this year coming back from a major shoulder repair I could ride for a great cause. My sister is a Type1 and we hope it is TYPE NONE in her lifetime.
Coming out of the woods to finish my first MTB race. This was BT Epic in Steelville, MO a 50-mile MTB race though some very rocky and rooty single track. It was only my 5th time ever on a MTB, and for a roadie I was happy with how I rode.
